The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Book 4 line of laptops is reportedly going to be powered by Intel’s Core Ultra AI chipsets. The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 series is one of the nicest lineup of laptops currently available on the market. Sleek and elegant designs alongside superb specifications make these laptops worthy competitors of Apple’s M-series MacBooks. Now, Samsung seems to be rushing to make its new lineup even more noteworthy, with AI being the new cherry on top.

Galaxy Book 4 specs leaked early

As is almost expected for an announcement of this magnitude, the specs for the upcoming laptops were leaked quite a while ago. Windows Report released the leaked specifications almost a month ago, letting everyone know there were going to be five Galaxy Book 4 models.

These specs varied wildly, with the cheapest laptop being a simple work machine, to the most expensive one being an absolute beastly laptop capable of intense gaming sessions. The estimated prices for the Galaxy Book 4 lineup were also leaked, giving consumers an idea of what to expect.

Intel’s Core Ultra AI chipsets

AI has been the craze this past year, and for good reason. It has optimized workflows, introduced new technologies once thought the realm of science fiction, and given us a glimpse of the future. Many companies are using AI for creative improvements to their products. For example, Google’s new Pixel phones allow users to modify pictures they’ve taken to insane degrees using AI.

If Samsung uses Intel’s Core Ultra AI chips in the Galaxy Book 4 series it could mean a couple of things. Firstly, it could mean Samsung would allow offline operation of Samsung Gauss; it’s proprietary generative AI model. Secondly, it could mean work on Galaxy Book 4 laptops could be severely simplified and sped up with an AI copilot to handle all the difficult tasks. Editing could become as easy as counting to ten, and everyone would be able to churn out high-quality media.

The Yonhap report that mentioned Samsung using AI chips also mentions that Samsung is likely to officially announce its Galaxy Book 4 lineup on the 15th of this month. If that is the case, people who are interested in buying the new Galaxy Book 4 laptops need not wait much longer to find out if they’re worth the money.
